She had no idea what was coming for her 🥹

I grew up on a farm outside Fairmont, Minnesota. 🐄🐷
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I had no grand plan to become a hormone specialist, run a functional medicine/chiropractic practice, review DUTCH tests, and host weekly dinners to teach women why they feel so terrible when their doctor keeps telling them they’re “fine.”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But here I am. Doing exactly that. And I genuinely love it.

If little me could see the stack of labs on my desk right now, she’d probably think I was the most important person alive. 😂

Ignoring it doesn’t make it go away...it just means it gets louder.

You’re hitting snooze 5 times but still crashing by 2 pm 😴

This isn’t laziness. This is your cortisol telling you something is off! Cortisol is supposed to work like your body’s built-in alarm clock. High in the morning to get you moving, then tapering down so you can actually sleep at night.

But during perimenopause and menopause?

That rhythm gets completely disrupted. And when cortisol goes haywire, you end up with:

She couldn’t eat wheat without extreme pain since she was 21. 😣
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
She was bloated constantly. Exhausted after work. Had zero motivation to do anything with her active kids. 😴
