Addi is officially 6 months post liver transplant and just about 16 months old — and somehow, she just keeps amazing us more every single day. 💚
Our sweet girl is on the move nonstop — walking, climbing, exploring everything she can get her hands on, and laughing at just about anything. Her personality is really shining through lately, especially when she flashes that big cheesy grin for pictures… extra big when she knows she’s doing something she shouldn’t be. She keeps us all on our toes in the best way.
One of the most surprising (and cutest!) updates — her hair has turned red! After always being brown, this little change has caught everyone off guard and just adds even more to what makes Addi so uniquely her.
She absolutely loves being outside and would stay out there all day if she could. Whether it’s fresh air, new things to look at, or just being on the move, that’s her happy place. And through it all, one of the most special things to watch is the bond she shares with her twin sister, Lainee. She loves to cuddle her, be near her, and the two of them continue to grow side by side through every high and low. It’s something truly special.
If you didn’t know her story, you would never guess that Addi is a liver transplant warrior. Her energy, her appetite, and her joyful spirit are just incredible. She is thriving in every sense of the word, and it’s nothing short of amazing to witness.
Her doctors continue to be extremely impressed with her progress. Since surgery, they’ve been able to significantly reduce her medications, which is a huge milestone. As long as her bloodwork continues to stay strong (and it has been!), they’ll keep working toward lowering them even more — something we are so hopeful and grateful for.
Mom, Dad, sissy, and even the pups couldn’t be more proud. Addi is so deeply loved, and every single day she reminds us just how strong, resilient, and full of life she is. She is truly a little miracle, and we are so thankful to watch her grow, thrive, and shine. 💚
Thank you to everyone who has followed her journey and donated to COTA for Addi’s Journey. Your love and support has meant more to us through this process than you could ever imagine. Keep an eye out for more exciting fundraisers to come!!!
