Today is World Cancer Day, a reminder of the strength of those fighting cancer, the memories of those we’ve lost, and the hope carried by survivors and their loved ones. Cancer touches so many lives, but so does compassion, research, and the power of community.

Let’s keep raising awareness, supporting early detection, standing with caregivers, and pushing for better access to treatment for everyone. Even small actions - a shared social media post, a donation, a conversation - can make a big impact.

The start of a new year is a time when many people begin an exercise program or ramp up their current one. We may not all enjoy exercise, but there are so many health benefits of exercising. Check out this infographic from the National Cancer Institute to see many of the ways exercise can be beneficial to you.

Be sure to check with a healthcare provider before beginning any new exercise program to make sure it's a good fit for you.
