Essential Yoga Therapy EYT was established by Robin Rothenberg. Robin is a C-IAYT, and expert in Iyengar and Viniyoga.

Essential Yoga Therapy has two distinct missions: one is to offer a means for safe, personal healing to people living with chronic pain or illness through Client Based Yoga Therapy. The other is to help develop highly qualified yoga teachers and subsequently to provide comprehensive training in yoga therapy for teachers who are motivated to go deeper. Essential Yoga Therapy is run by the internationally renowned yoga therapist and author Robin Rothenberg. Robin has been training yoga teachers for the last fifteen years as an RYS 500. The EYT Therapist Training program was the first IAYT Accredited Yoga Therapist Training Program and has been since the creation of the accreditation process in 2014. Robin is also a regular presenter on Yoga U Online and offers workshops, trainings and clinics around the country. My heart is overflowing. ❤️
This past week, I had the privilege of working with Reach for South Africa, a nonprofit organization that transforms discarded ship containers into beautiful preschool spaces for children in the African villages outside of Capetown.  After a week of sanding, and painting and painting and sanding more we were able to proudly deliver our finished container to the remote village of Maxixibeni. 

The welcome we received was beyond anything I could have imagined.

The community greeted us with song, dance, and pure joy. But nothing—absolutely nothing—compares to the moment we opened those doors and invited the children inside to play. Their faces lit up with wonder and excitement, their laughter filling every corner of that little school.
This is what hope looks like. This is what community looks like. This is what happens when people come together to create opportunities for the youngest among us.

To witness such gratitude, such celebration, such unbridled joy… I am forever changed.
Thank you to everyone at Reach for the incredible work you do, and to this beautiful village for reminding me what truly matters.

The future just got a little brighter. ✨

As we step into 2026, I find myself pausing to reflect. The turning of the year invites us into that sacred space between what was and what will be, a threshold where we can honor both our wholeness and our becoming. It’s an opportunity to listen deeply to what wants to emerge from within.
