[IMAGE DESCRIPTION] We are hiring: Resource Coordinator. About the role: The Outreach and Training Specialist supports the FR-CARA initiative under the New Bedford Health Department. The position focuses on outreach, overdose prevention, drug trends, and naloxone education and distribution across New Bedford, Fairhaven, Freetown, Dartmouth, and Acushnet. Essential functions: Conduct follow-up calls to high-risk individuals to all five communities. Build partnerships with first responders and community partners. Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate resources. Reduce barriers to accessing treatment and supportive services. Collaborate with first responders on outreach and education. Coordinate drug trend and naloxone training for 150+ first responders. Distribute 250 naloxone kits to responders and community members. Collect and submit required grant data.
