Your child doesn’t need to be changed. They need to be understood.

That looks like:
• Regulating with them, not correcting them
• Getting curious instead of frustrated
• Supporting sensory needs instead of minimizing them

You don’t have to have all the answers but your willingness to understand goes a long way.
