Christmas may have come and gone, but the magic of Christmas Eve lives on!

There’s something truly special about that night—the excitement, the wonder, and the belief that anything is possible. Within Cottage 8, the magic felt extra real when Santa’s reindeer paid a visit, leaving behind little signs that sparked joy and imagination.

It was a reminder that Christmas magic isn’t just about gifts, but about creating moments of wonder and lasting memories!

Thank you to our Staff Engagement Team for putting on Santa’s Super Secret Surprise Stockings and the Spudtacular Christmas Count! It has been a very fun and festive filled month trying to spread Christmas Cheer to all our staff. We appreciate all our staff that work the holidays and sacrifice time away from their own families to make the holidays special for our youth here. From decorating gingerbread houses to opening personalized pajamas and cozy slippers, every thoughtful detail reminded our kids that they are seen, valued, and cared for.

It keeps getting better at Saint Vincent’s Services. Last week, Piping Systems stopped by with an incredible, youth-centered donation—personalized mittens paired with Walmart gift cards for every young person we serve in our residential program.

This approach puts dignity and autonomy front and center, empowering youth to choose what they need most during the holidays—just like everyone else should be able to do. Huge thanks to Sharron and Morgan for coordinating this effort and making a real impact happen.
