WIC's goal is to help keep pregnant and breastfeeding individuals and kids under 5 healthy! But, WIC is for all kinds of families: married and single parents, working or not working. If you are a father, mother, grandparent, foster parent or other legal guardian of a child under 5, you can apply for WIC for your child.

A message from the Fall River Public Schools:

"As cleanup efforts continue across the city, Fall River Public Schools will remain closed for the remainder of this week. Classes are expected to resume on Monday, March 2, 2026.

A decision regarding whether district offices will open on Thursday and Friday will be made soon. 12-month employees, please stand by for an update regarding reporting expectations.

With seven snow days used through Friday — and any additional days that may be necessary — the academic calendar will need to be amended to make up these missed days. Additional information regarding calendar adjustments will be shared as soon as it is finalized.

We appreciate everyone’s patience as crews continue cleanup efforts across Fall River. Please continue to stay safe and check on neighbors if you’re able."

‼STORM ANNOUNCEMENT‼

We thank all residents for their patience as the city works hard to clear the 41" of snow that we received Sunday evening through Monday evening. We are doing our best to get to secondary streets for snow removal as we require heavy machinery to remove the amount of snow that has fallen. We understand this may be frustrating but ask that residents continue to be patient.

As a reminder, there is still a driving ban in place. In order to ensure everyone’s safety and that proper clean-up can take place, we ask for compliance. Thank you!
