Protecting your family doesn’t have to be complicated. A few simple habits can make all the difference:

🚨 Install smoke alarms near bedrooms and furnace areas, and test batteries every month.

🗺Create multiple escape routes from each room and choose a family meeting spot outside.

🏠Practice home fire drills so everyone knows what to do.

🕯❌Keep matches, lighters, and candles out of children’s reach and never leave candles unattended.

🔌 Check cords, appliances, and heating systems regularly for wear or damage.

🧯Place fire extinguishers in high‑risk areas like the kitchen and near the furnace.

🚒 In case of fire: Get out immediately, go to your meeting place, and call 911 from outside.

A little preparation today can save lives tomorrow!
