Someone very green was spotted roaming our community grounds yesterday… 👀

With a swish of a step and a sly little grin,
They wandered the walkways where mischief begins.
Doors creaked, eyes widened, chuckles took flight, a Seuss worthy surprise in the broad daylight.

So ponder and puzzle and give it a think… who could be that creature so fuzzy and green?🎄

A big thank you to Frank and our maintenance team here at Silvergate Fallbrook for creating wooden snowman decorations from scratch for our residents. They put so much care into making each one, and now residents get to paint and decorate them to keep in their rooms. It is special projects like this that make our community feel creative, personal, and full of heart. We are family here

Our residents had a jolly time decorating sugar and gingerbread cookies!

From carefully piping icing to adding colorful sprinkles, and other sugar confections, each cookie was created with patience, creativity, and joy. Activities like this bring everyone together, spark memories, and turn simple moments into meaningful ones.

The happiness and pride on their faces as they finished their cookies made the day extra special.

One of our residents, Jolly, brought together a team of fellow residents to transform our Chamber of Commerce winning Halloween scarecrow, Imma Waitin’, into the most charming Mrs. Claus! Each week, she appears in a new location around our Silvergate community, dressed a little differently and busy with a new task.

Last week, Mrs. Claus set up shop in the Suites building, carefully reviewing the naughty and nice list and handing out homemade Christmas cards created by other residents. This week, she’s hard at work in the wrapping room. Uh oh… it looks like Mrs. Claus may have accidentally wrapped someone’s cat!

We can’t wait to see what our residents come up with next. Stay tuned to see where Mrs. Claus pops up next week!

Our Silvergate residents had such a wonderful time at the Temecula Theater this past Saturday. We took a trip out to see A Christmas Carol performed live on stage, and it was the perfect way to kick off the holiday season!

From the beautiful sets and costumes to the heartfelt performances, everyone was completely drawn into the story. You could feel the room light up during the familiar scenes and carols. It was one of those outings where you hear people talking about their favorite moments all the way home on the bus.

We are so grateful to be able to share experiences like this together and make new Christmas memories with our Silvergate family.

We had such a wonderful afternoon yesterday. Sandra Kopitzke, Owner and Director of TNT (Totally N’ Tune), brought her talented show choir kids to Silvergate for a beautiful Christmas performance. The room lit up the moment they began to sing. Their energy, their sparkly costumes, and the way they connected with our residents made the whole place feel festive and full of life!

We enjoyed such a lovely Friendsgiving last night. The dining room looked beautiful with the soft candlelight and fall colors, and families filled the room with so much warmth. The meal was truly enjoyed by all residents and family. The rosemary roasted turkey, tenderloin, cornbread stuffing, au gratin potatoes, garlic herb green beans, and assorted pies made the evening feel extra special.

Phil Leonelli and Jocelyn Santos played beautiful music throughout dinner, and it added such a nice touch to the night. You could feel how much the residents loved having their families at the table with them. There was laughter, good conversation, and that cozy holiday feeling that makes this time of year so meaningful.

We took a trip out to Bates Nut Farm, and the weather couldn’t have been better. Sunny, comfortable, and just the kind of day that makes you want to stay outside a little longer.

We brought a picnic with fried chicken, potato salad, chips, and cookies and found a nice spot to relax before wandering around the farm. The residents had fun looking around the store because there is always some little treasure that catches your eye.

We also spent time visiting the animals, which brought out a lot of smiles. The goats, geese, and ducks were busy doing their thing and everyone loved watching them up close.

It turned into such a pleasant outing!

On Tuesday, we spent the afternoon honoring the men and women who served our country, right here at Silvergate. Our Veterans Day barbecue brought everyone together under the blue canopies on the lawn. Chef Phil grilled up burgers, ribs, and his famous skewers, and Phil Leonelli filled the courtyard with patriotic music.

We were grateful to be joined by Marines from Camp Pendleton, who sat shoulder to shoulder with our own veterans. The stories and handshakes shared across the tables were the heart of the event.

Silvergate is home to veterans from every branch of the military, and seeing them gathered together, enjoying a good meal, and good company on this beautiful day was a reminder of what community really means.

Thank you to all who served. We’re proud to celebrate you.

We were honored to welcome Marines from Camp Pendleton as they joined our veterans for lunch in celebration of the Marine Corps’ 250th birthday. The Marines shared stories and a beautiful birthday cake with our residents, making it a truly special and memorable afternoon of gratitude.
