The practice of yoga through breathing and moving meditation has brought not only an increased flexibility but more stability to my body and more importantly my mind. Through my practice I have achieved an overall calm and balanced demeanour, allowing me to tackle the ever increasing pressures and stresses that every day life throws my way.

I took a full week off training… and everything in me wanted to feel like I was “falling behind”

But what actually happened felt verrrrry different!!

My body softened
My energy slowly started coming back… and I ended up feeling pretty awesome actually
My motivation didn’t feel forced 💪🏼

It didn’t feel like I lost anything… it felt like I got something back

Which is the very opposite of what we would assume

Now moving again feels very different
Less push… more response… and way more awareness of what my body actually needs!!! Woohoo!!

You shouldn’t feel this tired…

especially when life isn’t that stressful.

That’s the part that doesn’t add up.

Things are steady.
You’re doing what you need to do.
You’re taking care of yourself.

But your energy still feels inconsistent…

…like it drops without a clear reason.

That’s usually where the real shift starts…
when you realise it’s not just about what you’re doing,
it’s how your body is responding underneath it.

Your body already knows if that goal is right for you… long before your mind catches up.

Nervous system-informed goal setting starts with checking for internal safety, it’s the quiet foundation for sustainable change, deeper sleep, and real strength gains. 💤💪🏼

There is a version of discipline that looks strong…
but underneath it is constant pressure.

Always Pushing harder.
Always Doing more.
Always Trying to override how the body actually feels.

It works for a while…

Then energy starts to feel inconsistent.
Then recovery feels slower.
Then progress doesn’t land the same way.

The shift is learning to regulate first…

and letting results come from that place. 😘😉

I don’t have kids… but being a woman in my late 40s…

I shouldn’t be feeling this tired.

That was the thought that kept coming up.

Because it didn’t add up.

Life isn’t chaotic.
I’m active.
I take care of myself.

So why did my energy still feel inconsistent…

like I’d hit a wall for no clear reason?

That’s where I started paying attention to what was happening underneath the surface…

because it wasn’t about how much I was doing.

It was how my body was responding to it.
