The most frequently asked question is: “What should I be eating or drinking to increase my milk?”
Or “What supplements should I be taking?”

The increase in the supply of breast milk is highly dependent on the frequency of milk removal. An “empty” breast makes milk fast! It is the child’s demand for milk that creates the stimulus that causes the body to produce more milk. It is a natural response of the mother’s body to act on the hunger of her child. In the case of sleepy babies, it maybe necessary for a mother to wake her baby up. Allowing one’s baby to get as much milk from the first breast before switching to the other side gives him an opportunity to derive high-fat hindmilk that will give him enough calories to grow and thrive.

Galactagogue’s, or substances believed to increase milk supply, can be utilized but never to replace regular and consistent milk removal. Extra feeding and pumping is the gold standard for making more milk!

Each of your ni***es has many small openings that lead to the milk ducts and allow breast milk to flow out of your breast to the baby. The size and shape of ni***es vary, and some people have flat ni***es that don't protrude from the ar**la. It is still possible to breastfeed if you have flat ni***es.

Flat ni***es do not usually interfere with breastfeeding. Most newborns can latch on to flat ni***es without much of a problem. And, as long as your baby can latch on to your breast properly, they will be able to draw your ni***es out. You can also try these strategies if you or your baby is struggling.
