What is Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP)? Margaret E., BSN, RN, RNC-NIC, C-ELBW, System RN ROP Navigator, explains how ROP, an eye condition that can affect premature infants, is diagnosed and treated to protect vision from the very start.

🩺 The ROP program is now fully managed by our expert and compassionate pediatric ophthalmology team, providing screening and treatment at all four of our NICUs – Inova L.J. Murphy Children's, Inova Loudoun Hospital, Inova Fair Oaks Hospital, and Inova Alexandria Hospital – and our Inova Children's Multispecialty Clinic in Fairfax.

💝 Our Child Life team at Inova L.J. Murphy Children's Hospital celebrated Valentine's Day with NICU families, bringing smiles and comfort during their stay. They provided parents with Valentine-themed self-care kits, while our tiniest patients received special onesies from the March of Dimes. 👶
