💍 Shay, an Inova nurse, and her then-fiancé, Jarvis, had to postpone their wedding to focus on Shay's high-risk pregnancy and the birth of their daughter, Jayla, who arrived early at just 25 weeks. 👶

💙 The Inova Children's NICU team became like family, standing by them through every challenge and small victory.

Now, with Jayla growing stronger, Shay and Jarvis said "I do" right here in the NICU, surrounded by the doctors and nurses who helped save their little girl's life. 💕

✨ Meet Dani, the sweetest 6-year-old admitted to the PSCU. After her surgery, Dani needed a little extra support with movement – so our team planned a very special dance party just for her. 🎶 She jumped, danced and sang to her favorite songs while working on her mobility, having fun and connecting with our team members.
