This past weekend, NSC had the honor of participating in a two day health fair alongside Humanity First USA and Remote Area Medical, connecting with so many organizations doing incredible work in our community 💙

Through this partnership, free healthcare services were provided to anyone in need at Mubarak Mosque in Chantilly, VA, bringing care directly to those who need it most.

We shared educational handouts and distributed Bombas socks, tampons, sanitizer, and bandages to support attendees throughout the event.

Today, our Safety-Net Health Equity Fellow Dr. Demery, our Population Health Pharmacist Dr. Anwari, and our APPE student Anjali attended an impactful panel and networking event, “When Food Access Meets Mental Health.”

We had the opportunity to learn from incredible panelists who shared both their expertise and personal experiences on how food insecurity can shape one’s relationship with food—and how cross-sector collaboration is essential for prevention and early intervention.
