🍀 Shamrock Memory: DIY Family Game Night! 🍀

Draw and color St. Patrick’s Day pictures on paper plates. (Just make sure each one has a match!)

Lay them face down and hop, jump, skip, or crab crawl to find your pairs.

A fun way to build memory, coordination and family connection, all while getting those wiggles out! 💚

💚 Shake. Watch. Breathe. Reset. 💚

Create a simple calming bottle to help your child recenter when emotions feel big.

All you need:
🫙 Empty water bottle
💧 Water + a little oil
✨ Sequins, glitter, or small beads

Shake it up and encourage your child to take slow deep breaths while watching everything settle. As the bottle calms, their body can too.

A simple, visual tool to support self-regulation, body awareness, and independent calming skills. 💛

🍀 Lucky Little Taste Test! 🍀

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a fun (and slightly silly!) green food taste test!

Gather a few green foods like:
🥝 Kiwi
🥒 Cucumber
🥑 Avocado
🥬 Spinach
🍏 Green apple
🫛 Snap peas

Let your child:
✨ Take a tiny “brave bite”
✨ Describe the taste (sweet? crunchy? sour? smooth?)
✨ Give it a thumbs up or thumbs down
✨ Pick their “Lucky Favorite!”

Taste testing encourages children to try new foods in a low-pressure way while building confidence, expanding food choices, and practicing expressing their opinions.

Keep it playful. Keep it positive. And don’t forget, it’s okay if they don’t love everything. Trying is the win! 🍀

🏀 March Madness Snack Attack! 🏀

It’s time to bring a little NCAA Division Basketball Tournament fun into your kitchen!

Create a basketball inspired snack using orange slices and blueberries (or blackberries or red grapes). Arrange the fruit into the shape of a basketball and let your child help:

🍊 Peel the oranges
🫐 Wash the berries
🏀 Build the basketball

This simple activity works on fine motor skills, bilateral coordination, and following directions, all while getting in the game day spirit!
