We are thrilled to announce the completion of year two of the Diplomate in Craniocervical Junction Procedures (DCCJP). This marks an important milestone for this year’s class. Building on the foundation of year one, the second year emphasized integration—bringing together advanced imaging interpretation, biomechanics, neurology, and case management into a cohesive framework for clinical application.
One of the highlights of this past year was the opportunity to present our research studies. (These are photos of a few of them!)
Council Public Relations Chair, Dr. Paulina N. Kaminski said, “These presentations allowed participants not only to deepen their own understanding but also to contribute to the growing body of knowledge in craniocervical junction procedures. Sharing this work among colleagues sparked valuable discussion and reinforced the importance of continuing to develop evidence-informed approaches in upper cervical chiropractic.
Year two also underscored the collaborative nature of the program. Through rigorous coursework, case analysis, and research presentations, doctors from diverse backgrounds came together with a shared goal: to advance their expertise and raise the standard of care for their patients.”
As the council and candidates look back, the challenges of the past year have been matched by the rewards: greater clinical clarity, refined technical skills, meaningful research contributions, and a stronger sense of professional community.
“As this cohort looks ahead to the final stage of the program, there is a shared sense of excitement and purpose. Year two has been demanding, but it has also been deeply rewarding, and it serves as a reminder of the vital role this work plays in improving the lives of patients worldwide,” said Dr. Kaminski.
