What are some myths surrounding GLP-1s?

There are plenty... but we wanted to highlight the biggest ones!

MYTH: "It's just for diabetics."
Fact: GLP-1s were originally created to combat type 2 diabetes, but the FDA has approved the GLP-1s for those with a higher than average BMI. The hunger hormones effect individuals who might not be diabetic, and in reality…. GLP-1s, with diet and exercise, may lower your chances of developing.

MYTH: "It's the easy way out, or you're lazy..."
Fact: GLP-1s assist with many different hormonal and metabolic factors that people cannot always control on their own!
So, it's not an "easy" way out... it's a way to combat what you cannot!

MYTH: "It's unsafe and/or full of side effects."
Fact: The side effects of GLP-1 medications are common and similar to the side effects of almost every medication. From nausea to indigestion, the side effects are typically minor. With a clean diet, increasing hydration, and maybe an antacid... side effects are handled easily.
Serious side effects are rare, which is why we complete a full health history prior to starting!
