Hey there… Gotta Minute? I have 3 questions for you:
How is your skin holding up in this cold and dry weather?
How’s your heart and nervous system doing during these intense times?
Looking for some Winter Wellness Inspiration?
I ask because the people I’m seeing here at Red Barn Wellness are all saying:
“Bbrrrrr! It’s so cold and my skin is so dry!”
“My heart feels so heavy for what’s happening in the world right now.”
“I know so many people who are sick right now.”
Are any of these true for you? Winter in Maine can be rugged on so many levels and it’s important that we’re taking care of ourselves in ways that support us mind, body and soul. That’s how we love the skin we’re in!
Here are a few of the ways I’m nourishing myself right now:
🙏🏻Writing down three things I am grateful for each day.
🧘🏻♀️No screen time 1 hour before bed and 1 hour after waking.
📕 Cozy up and read a good book.
🖼️ I’ve actually started coloring! I’ve found it to be a creative outlet.
❄️Going for a brisk walk or snowshoe with my pup.
🧴Making sure I prioritize my AM/PM Skincare Routine with clean, quality products.
💦 I add some extra hydration into my daily routine. No alligator legs for me!
🧖🏻♀️ As I rest and restore I also make extra time for treatments that will assure I have deeper pe*******on of my products. This ensures my products are keeping the barrier of my skin intact and warding off the winter dryness.
