🟠 What Is the “Bulge Sign” in Thermography?

When reviewing thermal images, one of the patterns we look for is something called the Bulge Sign. This shows up when an area of the body displays a rounded, protruding pattern of increased heat compared to surrounding tissue.

➡️ What it means:
A bulge sign often indicates localized inflammation, tissue stress, or dysfunction in the area. It's an important clue that something needs attention, urgently.

➡️ Why we watch for it:
A bulge sign is considered a suspicious finding, not a diagnosis. It tells us that follow-up, monitoring, and additional testing is warranted
