📢Today is National Healthcare Decisions Day!📢

This day serves as a powerful reminder to think about and discuss your wishes for future medical care. It's about ensuring your voice is heard, even if you can't speak for yourself.

Why is this important?

💙 Peace of Mind: Knowing your wishes are documented gives you and your family comfort.
💙 Clarity: Advance directives (like a Living Will or Durable Power of Attorney for Healthcare) provide clear guidance to doctors.
💙 Control: You maintain control over your healthcare journey.

Three essential steps you can take today:

✅ Talk: Have an open conversation with loved ones and your doctor about what quality of life means to you.
✅ Choose: Select a trusted person (a healthcare agent) who can make medical decisions for you if needed.
✅ Document: Fill out and sign an advance directive, and make sure copies are shared with your agent and healthcare providers.

Don't leave these vital decisions to chance. Take a moment today to secure your future.

A couple stories George shared: A truck ran over his foot on the battlefield. It wasn't broken, but it sure felt like it was!
