Tomorrow night we will celebrate this month’s new moon in sidereal Cancer 🌑
Kim draws from her personal study of Vedic astrology, or Jyotisha, and the insights she has gained over the years simply listening to her teachers discuss not only Vedic astrology, but Shasta (yogic scripture), Ayurveda, and much more. In these ceremonies, you will learn a little about the astrology, but more so you will be invited to personally reflect on the areas in your life that perhaps need nurturance, orientation, devotion, change, or space to name several. It is a time to slow down, contemplate, and consider how you can step forward in your life in the best, most useful, and loving way as the moon begins its new cycle.

**if you are familiar with western, or tropical, astrology, then the moon will be in a different sign. These systems look at the sky differently and so there is variation and difference. There is not right or wrong, just different perspectives.**

Yin Yang Yoga with Lora is a gentle midday class drawing inspiration from the ancient principles of Yin and Yang. You flow between mindful, energizing movement and the grounding stillness of Yin postures to release tension and restore balance.

This class is perfect for all levels, and it offers a calming yet revitalizing break in your day—a chance to reset, reconnect with your body and breath, and cultivate clarity and calm to carry with you into the afternoon.

In addition, Lora has continued to study the methods of Yin yoga specifically, and she has experienced the great benefits in her own body- mind. She is an excellent resource for how to use the principles of Yin and Yang to heal from within.

✨Register for the VIRTUAL OPTION of that class.

✨5-15 minutes prior to the class start time, you will receive an email with the Zoom link for that specific class. DO NOT try to join on the app or in Wellness Living- it will not work. Please be sure the email address associated with your Wellness Living account is the one you’d like to receive messages and links from us.

✨Enjoy your practice!

All class packages and memberships can be used to our virtual classes. There is no difference in our drop in rate for in person attendance or online.

This full moon is a celebration of the light and grace of the teachers who shared and continue to share yoga and the time-tested wisdom of the Vedic tradition. Guru Purnima is a special opportunity to realign yourself with your own inner teacher, intuition or wisdom, and set a stable and loving foundation for your actions in the remainder of the year.

Downtown Yoga opened its doors December of 2017 with the vision of bringing unique yoga classes to downtown Fargo. With small class sizes, you can feel comfortable without feeling crowded. Several daily classes are offered, as well as different monthly specialty classes ranging from Wine+Yoga to Rooftop Yoga+Mimosas to Parent & Child Yoga. Our mission is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental community for people to grow and cultivate their yoga practice. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced student, you’ll find an inviting yoga home here.
