✨🎓 Occupational Therapy Graduate Spotlight: Elliot! 🎓✨
When Elliot was in Pre-K, his teacher noticed something wasn’t quite right. He was tripping over objects and had trouble staying seated on his carpet square during class. After further testing, Elliot was diagnosed with Leber Congenital Amaurosis (LCA) — a severe form of retinitis pigmentosa.
LCA is a rare retinal degeneration present at birth or in early infancy that causes significant vision loss and can eventually lead to blindness.
With the support of incredible eye doctors, therapists, teachers, and his devoted parents guiding him every step of the way, Elliot faced every challenge with courage and determination. 💙
In October, we proudly celebrated Elliot’s graduation from Occupational Therapy at ProRehab with our incredible OT, Jessica! His determination, resilience, and positive spirit have inspired us every step of the way.
👏 Congratulations, Elliot! We are SO proud of you! 👏
