The BIA New Year Celebration marked a strong start to the year for the Foundation. Here are a few highlights:

💡 Newly installed President, Elliot Steinbrink, shared a recap of 2025, including the Herdina Construction Trades Camp, our partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Red River Valley, and the Health, Tech & Trades Career Expo.

🎉 Proudly celebrated our 2025 scholarship recipients from Minnesota State University Moorhead, North Dakota State College of Science, North Dakota State University, and area high schools.

🙌 Awarded Tyler Holland, Holland Enterprises as the Foundation's Volunteer of the Year and Cecelia Jorud, Bell Bank as the Foundation's Extra Mile recipient.

✨ Wrapped things up with our version of Heads or Tails: “Hard Hats or Tool Belts.” The winner, Liz Kath of Bell Insurance, received 50/50 of the funds raised and generously donated her winnings right back to the Foundation!

Last Thursday, we officially installed the 2026 Board of Trustees for the BIA Foundation of the Red River Valley. We’re grateful for our outgoing board and excited for what’s ahead with this incredible team.

New year, new name, same mission. 💪 We’re excited to officially introduce the BIA Foundation of the Red River Valley!

This rebrand helps better align us and strengthen the shared impact with our sister organizations, the Building Industry Association of the RRV and the Building Industry Health Plan of the RRV.

We’re so thankful for our continued partnership with the FM REALTORS-Fargo Moorhead Area Association of Realtors, who named us their Charity of Choice this quarter! Our Foundation and Building Industry Association of the RRV leadership and staff were proud to recap our 2025 accomplishments and help spread the word about Giving Hearts Day.
