Immersing our bodies in cold isn't something new. Before there were warm showers, baths were taken in cold streams and lakes a few times a week.
So when your brains says "I don't think I can do it" .... that's not true. Human bodies have been doing it literally FOREVER. We are designed to do it.
We've just allowed ourselves to fall into comfort and ease. And while that has its perks, it also comes with negatives.
We are more anxious, more disregulated, more depressed, and mentally weaker than we have ever been.
When we push ourselves back to a little discomfort, we teach ourselves to be strong. We bring ourselves back to how we were designed.
We no longer have cold streams in our backyards. But we do have an opportunity to immerse ourselves in heat and cold. We'd love to bring you back to your human roots.
