If your candle flame is too@high, flickering wildly, or you can see black soot around the flame. This probably why.

Before every burn, trim your wick to about 1/4 inch.

This helps create a steadier flame, less smoke, a cleaner jar, and even burn, and a longer lasting candle.

It takes 5 seconds but it completely changes how your candle burns and the life of the candle.
