If your first mile always feels a little…off, it’s probably not the run itself.

It’s the zero-to-sixty start.

Most people go from “sitting” straight into running and expect their body to just figure it out. Sometimes it does. Sometimes it reminds you halfway through.

Try one of the following exercises consistently:
• Running Man – helps your body find its stride before you actually run
• Monster Walk – wakes up your hips and glutes so they’re not late to the party

Takes a couple minutes. Minimal equipment. Big difference in how your run feels during and after.

May there always be work for your hands to do;

May your purse always hold a coin or two;

May the sun always shine on your windowpane;

May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain;

May the hand of a friend always be near you;

May your heart be filled with gladness to cheer you.

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone, Sláinte!

Muscle tightness and trigger points can affect how your body moves, often leading to stiffness or lingering discomfort.

Dry needling is a technique physical therapists use to target these tight areas directly within the muscle, helping release tension and restore normal movement.

If you’ve been dealing with stubborn muscle knots, tight shoulders, hip stiffness, or persistent tension, dry needling may help.

A few things that tend to irritate neck muscles:

• looking down at phones
• long hours at a computer or desk
• driving
• stress tension

The good news is that a few targeted exercises done with consistency can help eleveate discomfort quickly.

Here are a few of our favorites.

Today we celebrate the strength, resilience, and impact of women everywhere.

Did you know that... International Women’s Day has been celebrated for more than a century. The first official celebration took place in 1911, when over one million people across several countries gathered to support women’s rights and opportunities.

Here’s to the women who lead, create, support, inspire, and lift others along the way—today and every day.

Happy International Women’s Day! 🌷

The sidewalks are clear, the sun is out, and just like that, Fargo is moving again. Marathon training has started, mileage is climbing, and yard projects are around the corner.

The challenge is that small issues often lead to subtle movement changes. You compensate without realizing it, and over time that manageable irritation becomes something more stubborn.

It usually looks like this:
• You shorten your stride
• You shift your weight differently
• Another joint starts picking up the slack

Training for something this spring? DM us before a small ache slows you down.

If you’ve ever had a deep, stubborn muscle knot that stretching doesn’t touch — this is what targeted treatment looks like.

Dry needling is a technique we use to release trigger points (tight bands within a muscle) that can cause pain, stiffness, and limited movement.

It’s:
✔️ Precise
✔️ Quick
✔️ Focused on restoring movement
✔️ Often surprisingly relieving

And yes — it’s different from acupuncture.

Spring is around the corner. Let’s make sure your shoulders, hips, and back are ready for it.

Apparently today is National Chili Day, Small Dog Day, National Toast Day AND Carpe Diem Day.

So obviously the only responsible plan is to seize the day by:
🌶️ Eating chili
🍞 With a side of toast
🐶 While petting a small dog
📱 (Or watching tiny dogs causing big chaos)

Hang on to your bowls, friends.

Drop your favorite chili recipe below 👇
Bonus points for small dog pics.
Extra bonus points if the dog is smaller than the bowl of chili.

Prehab (PT before surgery) is supported by research as part of preparing for recovery.

A JAMA Network Open systematic review found prehab was associated with improved outcomes versus usual care across multiple orthopedic surgeries.

In-clinic PT adds value by building a plan that fits you, progressing it appropriately, and providing accountability to stay consistent.
