This Autism Acceptance Month, we're sharing powerful testimonials and milestones from parents and employees as part of our “Strength in Every Story" campaign.

Today, we're sharing Charly's story and the progress she's made through our ABA services.

Charly's mom Michelle, shares
"Charly loves anything to do with music, movement, or even better, both! She is curious, and busy, which has sometimes made it hard to get her to tune in to what those around her are doing. Since starting ABA, we have seen an increase in her attention and engagement. One of our favorite things to do as a family now is to sing songs -Together!"

Her BCBA, Kirsten Johnson, shares
It has been so rewarding to watch Charly grow—she’s now showing interest in new activities and has developed skills that are truly setting her up for success. Seeing her reach this milestone and begin preschool is such an exciting step! Sometimes, all it takes is the right approach to unlock a child’s potential.

It's a privilege to watch Charly grow and thrive! 💙

At Pediatric Partners, our therapists pursue advanced training to ensure children with complex diagnoses receive the most specialized care possible. 🌠

Today, we wanted to share a testimonial from parent Stephanie Allen, who's daughter receives services from our Physical Therapist Alishia Daily. Alishia recently completed advanced training focused on supporting children with Spina Bifida—allowing our team to better understand the unique mobility, strength, and developmental needs these children face.

Stephanie shares "On January 8, 2024, at 21 weeks gestation, my husband and I learned that our baby girl had Spina Bifida (Myelomeningocele). We experienced a whirlwind of emotions, but most of all, we felt uncertain about what this diagnosis would mean for her future.

She began physical therapy at just a few months old. At times, progress felt slow, and it was difficult watching her peers reach milestones more quickly. But we held onto hope and kept moving forward.
At 20 months old, we were introduced to Alishia Daily and her use of NISE-Stim therapy—and everything began to change.

At first, Lizzy was unsure about the electrodes. But after just a few sessions, her hesitation turned into excitement. She began to associate the therapy with something powerful: independence. With NISE-Stim, Lizzy gained strength in standing, and within just one month, she took her first independent steps without her walker. Watching that moment was nothing short of incredible.

Over the past four months, her progress has been breathtaking. She continues to build on her success—taking more steps, showing off her new skills at home, and growing stronger every day. She is now bending down to pick up toys, stepping over objects, and transitioning from the floor to standing with increasing confidence.
We are also hopeful that this therapy may positively impact her bladder and bowel function.
Our only regret is not starting sooner. PT requires time and commitment, but seeing Lizzy’s joy and confidence grow has made every moment worth it.

By sharing her story, we hope to inspire other parents, physicians, and therapists to explore the benefits of NISE-Stim—because for Lizzy, it has truly been life-changing."

Some of the most meaningful moments of therapy begin right at the front desk. The front desk teams build genuine connections with families through everyday kindness, turning simple interactions into lasting friendships. Our Fargo NBH Office Coordinator, Beth, was presented these beautiful flowers today from a family who wanted her to know she makes a difference. Small gestures can leave lasting impressions. Thank you Beth for making such a difference in the lives of our families. 💐🩷

It’s Milestone Monday! Today, we’re highlighting Louie’s journey and his family’s experience with our Early Intervention services. 💙🌠

Louie's family shares, “We are so grateful for early intervention. We noticed some language delays with Louie around 12 months old and began working with Sarah weekly to address those and other areas this past Fall.

In just six months we have seen so much growth and potential in our sweet boy. Louie’s language, both receptive and expressive, has exploded, his independence has grown, and he is becoming more comfortable being… a little uncomfortable with lots of sensory activities!

Not only have we been focusing on Louie’s needs, but the extra focus on how we, as parents, can implement practices and activities to help guide him outside of our weekly meetings I believe has been a key to Louie’s overall success thus far. The focus on the whole family and how we can work together to help Louie meet and surpass his various goals has been such a welcomed strategy and absolutely impacted the positive outcomes we’ve already seen!

And, it cannot go without stating, the bond Louie has made with his Sarah solidifies that this was the best decision we could have made for him and our family. He trusts her. He feels so safe and comfortable with her. He wants to show her everything he is capable of. He absolutely adores her - and so do we! Sarah never treats Louie, or our time together, as just a check-mark on her schedule. The care, attention, and kindness Sarah shows to our whole family has made this experience less daunting for all of us.

As his parents, we would, of course, do anything to help Louie and make sure he is on a strong path forward. Starting him in Early Intervention and working with Pediatric Partners was the easiest and best decision we could have made. We are so, so grateful for everything they have and continue to do for Louie and our family!”
