Happy Milestone Monday! Today's Milestone Monday highlights the incredible progress PJ has made during our EI services. 🌠🌟

PJ's mom, Casondra Duckworth shares "PJ has been in Early Intervention for the last year, primarily due to speech and walking delays. When we first started EI, getting PJ to kneel for a few seconds was a real feat. In September 2025, he took his first independent steps and we haven't looked back. Ashley has been so helpful in providing suggestions of different ways to use his existing toys to better support his development and answering any of my questions as a first time parent. We are so grateful to have Ashley and the team at Pediatric Partners supporting PJ!”

Happy Milestone Monday! This week's success story comes from Ashley and Heather, Hudson and Bodhi’s moms. They share,

"The timing of everything in our family felt like the stars aligning. Just as our oldest son, Hudson, was graduating from early intervention services, our youngest son, Bodhi, was diagnosed with cancer.

Because Hudson had already built relationships with the amazing therapists at Pediatric Partners Early Intervention, getting Bodhi connected to services was seamless during a time when our world felt turned upside down. The team welcomed him with the same care, patience, and encouragement that helped Hudson thrive as a toddler.

Hudson was a hero in his own journey through early intervention, and in a different way, he helped pave the path for Bodhi during one of the hardest seasons of our lives. Bodhi became a hero too as he fought through cancer, and we are so grateful Pediatric Partners was there to support our boys and our family through it all."

April shares, "I have been working as a RBT for almost 4 years now. Working with children and seeing the progress that is made is what makes the job exciting. Jack’s journey with Early Intervention has been full of incredible progress- from coming home from the NICU, to weaning off oxygen, to mastering gross motor skills and now working on pre-academic skills. His educator Haley says it’s been a joy watching him accomplish each goal along the way.

Jack’s mom shares:
“Early intervention gave me support and resources as a new mom navigating my son’s unique needs. The staff became friendly faces we could count on, and thanks to them we know Jack will continue to thrive!”

Jackie, Marketing & Clinical Liaison, and Sarah, Early Interventionist (OT), had a wonderful time at the First Season Community Center event, Play with Purpose, hosted by Pediatric Partners!

This fun, engaging playgroup is designed for children ages 0–5 and their families and is held every Wednesday in March in Grand Forks at the First Season Community Center. Little ones can jump, climb, and explore in a safe, welcoming environment while parents and caregivers connect and build community.

Happy Milestone Monday! This milestone Monday highlights AJ. Both AJ's mom and PT, Laura, reflect on his accomplishments and growth during EI services with us. đź’™

AJ's mom, Emily shares “One especially meaningful milestone for our son has been his physical development. When he began Early Intervention at eight months old, he could not sit up independently, and today he is walking, jogging, and climbing stairs on his own. His love for being active—especially playing at parks—helped motivate these gains, as movement and play were used to build strength, balance, and coordination in a natural way. These milestones have increased his independence and confidence in everyday life, from playing alongside other children to exploring his environment more freely.”

Aspen and Annalise had a wonderful time yesterday at our Play with Purpose event held at GiGi’s Playhouse in Fargo. Meet Brittany, our new therapist in Grand Forks!
Brittany Lavallie, LAPC, is licensed in ND. She obtained a Master’s in Community Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Dakota, and has dedicated her career to supporting individuals navigating their most challenging chapters.

Brittany’s journey began with an internship at UND’s University Counseling Center (UCC), where she developed a foundation in clinical excellence. Today, her practice is fueled by a deep passion for working with children who have faced difficult life circumstances. Whether addressing trauma, anxiety, or depression, she aims to focus on creating a safe, transformative space for healing.

We have exciting news! 🎉
Kirsten Johnson just passed her exam and is now a BCBA for our ABA program in Fargo!

She shares, “I always knew that I wanted work with kids, but had never heard of the world of Applied Behavior Analysis. I started in ABA 5 years ago, and quickly saw how large an impact it can have on families’ lives. I worked as a Registered Behavior Technician for two years before I was finally ready to take the next step and work towards becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Since day one, the team encouraged me to take that step and waited patiently until I was ready. Today, I’ve done it. Now I get to take all that I have learned and help families reach their goals.

I love ABA because we get the opportunity to come alongside families and work on a wide variety of skills, such as communication, social skills, play, and daily living skills. We teach skills that help the child independently meet their needs, not just reduce undesired behaviors. All behavior tells us something, and now I get to help make sure that whatever it is telling us actually meets the needs of the individual.”
