This week’s Milestone Monday shines the spotlight on Elias! 🌟
His EI Educator, Bethany Olson, shares highlights of his recent growth and the exciting milestones he’s achieved.

"During my home visits with Elias, we’ve been working on communication skills like imitating sounds and waving. We’ve also been focusing on feeding skills, including eating more table foods and introducing a straw cup. Even with the challenges that can come with Spina Bifida, he continues to work so hard and make such great progress. I am so proud of him!" 💛

Elias's mom also shared,
“Elias is really trying to talk and is getting better with eating table food every day! He also plays more and especially loves his shape sorter! He’s trying to wave as well, we’re so close!”

From the NICU to home, we're fortunate to have supported Galilee's growth through our Early Intervention services at Pediatric Partners!

After 29 days in the NICU, Galilee began EI services with Pediatric Partners to support her development following a premature birth and hearing loss diagnosis.

By starting EI early, Galilee received support in communication, social, physical, and cognitive skills, and today, she’s growing, babbling, and meeting milestones!

Galilee’s parents share, "Pediatric Partners Early Intervention team has been a great support for our family. They are helping Gali reach her full potential, leading to significant gains in her cognitive, social, and physical skills. They come to our home weekly, and we—as parents—get to actively participate in a natural setting. We know our child best, and the team is incredibly accommodating and supportive. We just want what’s best for Gali. We truly believe that Early Intervention is giving her the best chance for a positive outcome in the future.”

Giving Hearts Day is coming up on February 12th! ❤️
Giving Hearts Day is an online fundraising event held in North Dakota and northwest Minnesota. It’s a great moment for Pediatric Partners employees to show up for the community that supports us all year long.

To honor Giving Hearts Day, our clinics decorated to show our spirit and employees are sharing which nonprofits they're donating to.

"There are so many amazing organizations doing important work in our community. But one that’s especially close to my heart is Ruth’s Food Cart. Back in 2020, First Congregational United Church of Christ Moorhead started Ruth’s Food Cart as a simple idea: a “Take what you need, give what you can” pantry in their parking lot at 406 8th Street South. What began as a small act of kindness has grown into a lifeline for so many of our neighbors.

For the past three years, Ruth’s Food Cart has participated in Giving Hearts Day to raise awareness, welcome volunteers, and gather donations so the cart can be stocked every single day.

By reducing food waste and helping address food insecurity, Ruth’s Food Cart truly lives out the mission of “Neighbors Feeding Neighbors.

I’m also proud that Pediatric Partners supports this effort by donating food from our therapy kitchen as it approaches its “Best By” date—making sure it goes to neighbors who need it instead of the trash."

Introducing Milestone Mondays! ✨
Each week, our Early Intervention Educators highlight meaningful milestones recently achieved by the children they support.

This week, Annalise Bittner is sharing a special milestone from her work with Galilee, one that truly stood out. She shares "Recently, Galilee has started making more vocal sounds with inflections and intonations, even though she has a hearing loss diagnosis. Her mom has been signing “milk” when asking if she wants or needs a bottle and Galilee is trying to sign “milk” back to her as well as signing “mom” and “dad” when they are in sightline."

At Pediatric Partners, helping children learn, grow, and thrive is at the heart of everything we do!

Meet Anton, one of our favorite little explorers. Anton joined us just before his first birthday with delays in gross motor skills. Through a personalized, play-based therapy plan that included PT, OT, and speech therapy, he’s made incredible progress.

Today, Anton is a confident, busy toddler who can transition independently, belly crawl, pull to stand, and even walk using his posterior walker. He’s also finding his voice and building communication skills along the way. We’re so proud of you, Anton, and honored to support your journey!
