There's a new Veterans Memorial Park in Dunseith honoring Rolette County veterans. Soon, organizers say it will expand to include all those across North Dakota who sacrificed their lives for our freedom.

Huge Thank You to the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Tribe for allowing us to be apart of their Veterans Park in Dunseith, ND. The Veterans wall consists of 700+ Veterans who served in the military from Rolette County. The 8 Pillars represent the 6 Military Branches, National Guard and POW*MIA. The park is named after Army Veteran Roger Counts who served in Vietnam and who came up with the idea for the park.

Dakota Monument Company got the privilege to attend the American Institute or Commemorative Art convention in Flagstaff, AZ. We got to grow our knowledge of the memorial industry as well as get new ideas and inspiration for future memorials.

The second photo is with Ruth Abernethy who is an amazing bronze artist and taught us all the different ideas and aspects that go into bronze memorials.
