Frozen shoulder is not always just a shoulder problem.
The muscles that move and stabilize your shoulder are controlled by nerves that exit from your neck. If there is restriction or irritation in the cervical spine, it can change the way those nerves communicate with the shoulder. That altered communication can lead to muscle guarding, weakness, and limited range of motion.
In this video you can see it clearly. Before the adjustment, his shoulder cannot fully move overhead. After restoring motion through the neck and shoulder, his range immediately improves.
When the spine moves better, the nervous system communicates better. And when communication improves, function follows.
If your shoulder feels stuck or tight, do not forget to check the neck. Schedule an appointment and let’s find the root of the problem so you can move freely again.
