Warmest wishes this Christmas!

On Tuesday, our facility holiday party was made extra special with the presence of our local high school hockey players & coaches, who graciously volunteered their time. The Falcon boys (4th year volunteering) and South Central Flyer girls (2nd year volunteering) embodied the spirit of giving as they went room to room distributing gifts before heading to the dining room to hand out more gifts. We are forever thankful to our amazing hockey friends for their kindness and generosity in helping us spread joy. Our residents & staff were deeply touched by their kindness.

Thank you to our staff, Jennie-O Turkey Store, and Premier Bank for adopting residents again this year, and thank you to Michelle Jasinski with Weichert Realtors Heartland for the holiday bag donations. Together we were able to make sure that all 80 residents received a gift this year!

Happy Monday everyone! The highlight of our day was gathering together with our Culinary Director Praveen & Therapeutic Recreation Director Carrie to decorate Gingerbread houses.

Our very own Gingerbread Village will be on display all week!

Thank you to our friends at Premier Bank of Faribault and their patrons for adopting residents again this year for Christmas.

The last bit of our Emeralds Showcase on Friday was amazing. Staff decided to dance with our residents.

It was one of the most beautiful & touching moments to witness & be a part of.

This afternoon, we held our first Talent Showcase which was mc’d by Nurse Manager Vanlee. The opening act was Director of Nursing, EK. This event showcased the talents of many residents and staff members who danced, sang, told jokes, showed off their video editing talents, and a beautiful gingerbread creations.

We ended the gathering with staff members dancing with the crowd. What a beautiful day to be a part of The Emeralds at Faribault family 🥰

Today’s highlight was being able to spend time with Jim & Bonnie Lenway by singing festive music together followed by our monthly birthday party.

Fareway bakery always does such a beautiful job decorating our cakes 🥰
