Proud to support those who serve.

This week, our Lab Manager Rudy Zermeno traveled to the DHA Dental Laboratory Training Workshop in Colorado Springs to lead hands-on training sessions with military dentists and dental laboratory technicians from across the Army, Navy, and Air Force, teaching them how to fabricate custom TAP devices.

These oral appliances are designed to treat obstructive sleep apnea by gently advancing the lower jaw to keep the airway open during sleep.

It's work like this that reminds us why we do what we do. Supporting Department of Defense personnel means going beyond the lab. It means showing up on-site, sharing expertise, and ensuring our service members have access to the highest quality of care.

We're incredibly proud to partner with our military dental teams and honored to play a role in the health and readiness of those who protect our country.

Great work, Rudy. 👏

CPAP therapy is the most widely prescribed treatment for sleep apnea. It works by delivering a steady stream of air through a mask worn during sleep to keep the airway open. For many patients, it is life changing.

But nearly half of all patients stop using it within a year.

The mask is uncomfortable. The machine is loud. The nightly routine is hard to maintain. And a patient who is not using their treatment is still at risk for the serious health consequences that come with untreated sleep apnea, including heart disease, high blood pressure, and chronic fatigue.

Physicians need a solution their patients will actually stick with.

Research shows that custom oral appliances carry a roughly 90% compliance rate compared to CPAP's 50%. These small, custom-fitted mouthpieces quietly hold the airway open during sleep with no machine, no mask, and no power source required. For 2026, they remain covered by Medicare.

TAP custom oral appliances are backed by over 30 years of clinical research. We work alongside dedicated healthcare professionals to make oral appliance therapy a seamless, supported option for the patients who need it most.

Better treatment outcomes start with a treatment patients will use. TAP can help you get there.

Proud to support University of Michigan School of Dentistry's Mini-Residency in Dental Sleep Medicine.

At the first in-person session, attendees used the ProGauge to take bite registrations for their custom devices and build hands-on experience with appliance setup.

The ProGauge helps support proper hardware placement and vertical setting, giving clinicians a practical way to create a more precise fit for their patients.

Thank you to University of Michigan School of Dentistry, Geoffrey Gerstner, and Ivy Wei for the opportunity to support continued education in dental sleep medicine.

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) affects nearly 1 in 4 US adults, causing airway blockages that lead to loud snoring and interrupted breathing.

This not only disrupts your rest, but can increase risks for heart disease, depression, fatigue and more.

OSA is a serious, often undiagnosed disorder. Common indicators include loud snoring, gasping for air, morning headaches, waking up with dry mouth, and chronic exhaustion.

At TAP Sleep Care, our comfortable oral appliances are non-invasive alternative to CPAP and surgery, designed to keep airways open for peaceful, snore-free nights.

Patients, talk to your doctor to see if TAP is right for you.

Discover the clinical benefits of dual therapy using the patented Mouth Shield + TAP.

The TAP device advances the lower jaw to treat sleep apnea, while the silicone Mouth Shield seals the mouth to promote nasal breathing and reduce snoring.

The best part? Several studies show it can:
✔️ Help protect your gums & teeth health
✔️ Improve heart rhythm & blood flow (especially helpful for folks with irregular heartbeats like AFib)
✔️ Even give your brain a boost for better focus & thinking if sleep apnea has been fogging you up

A simple, no-mask option that tackles breathing + snoring + overall health. Who's ready for better sleep?

We hope her retirement brings the peace she brought to work every day and she gets to enjoy what she loves to do - traveling, quilting and gardening.

Cheers to you, Lynne! 🥳
