Union General Hospital is proud to be one of the presenting sponsors of the Union Council on Aging 2026 Fish Fry.

We are honored to support this wonderful event that brings our community together while celebrating and caring for our seniors. Events like this reflect the heart of Union Parish and the importance of staying connected and giving back.

Join us on May 13 at 10 AM at the Willie Davis Jr. Recreation Center for a great time, great food, and even better company.

Union General Hospital is proud to support the 18th Bill Jung Memorial Fishing Tournament, an event that honors the legacy of Billy Jung’s father while giving back to the volunteer firemen who so selflessly serve our community.

This tournament is a meaningful reminder of the dedication, sacrifice, and heart of our volunteer firefighters. Their commitment to keeping Union Parish safe does not go unnoticed, and we are honored to stand alongside them in appreciation and support.

At Union General Hospital, we believe in caring for our community both inside and outside our walls. Supporting those who protect and serve is one more way we live out our mission of providing quality service with compassionate care, right here at home.

We are grateful to the Union Parish Library for their thoughtful donation to support Behavioral Health Services at Union General Hospital.

The donation consisted of a social-emotional literacy kit, “Behind the Little Red Door,” designed for young children. This valuable resource encourages creativity, storytelling, and emotional development. Through engaging stories, music, and hands-on activities, it helps little ones explore feelings, build imagination, and develop important social-emotional skills.

A special thank you to Stephanie Herrmann and the Union Parish Library for their continued support. We truly value this partnership and their commitment to our community.

🚌 Care Close to Home… and on the Road!

Union General Hospital was proud to be the first stop on the Union Parish Historic Bus Tour hosted by the Union Museum of History and Art!

We had the wonderful opportunity to welcome participants, share a little about the history of our hospital, and highlight the services we provide right here in our community. Each guest received a fun doctor bag–themed goodie pack as a small token of our appreciation.

It was such a joy to see so many smiling faces and to be part of an event that celebrates the rich history and strong spirit of Union Parish.

At Union General Hospital, we are committed to more than healthcare — we are committed to our community.

Today we had the opportunity to attend the DART monthly meeting, organized by Ms. Jackie Hill, Domestic Violence Advocate. It was a meaningful and impactful gathering focused on supporting and strengthening our community.

A special thank you to Christi Sparks, Investigator with the Union Parish Sheriff Office, for delivering an excellent and informative presentation. Your work and dedication truly make a difference.

The ladies from the Sisterhood of Louisiana Incorporated created such a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere. They did a fantastic job with the tea-themed decorations, tea cakes, and delicious meal that made the event even more special.

At Union General Hospital, we value being part of conversations and initiatives that promote safety, awareness, and support for those in need. Community matters, and working together makes us stronger.
