Founded in 1967, Daleview Care Center is a 142-bed facility located in Farmingdale, NY, in close proximity to all local hospitals.

Not only has Daleview Care Center long been acknowledged as a leading senior care provider, our fully renovated, beautifully designed facility is now widely recognized as one of the most attractive in the area. Through the years, Daleview Care Center has continued to grow and evolve to meet community needs, and today offers a full continuum of care, from temporary respite stays, to short-term rehabilitation, to long-term skilled nursing care, as well as a broad array of specialty programs and services. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from our family, to yours 🫂 Santa brought so much joy to everyone, and we loved decorating and donning our festive ugly sweater, indulging in some sweet treats, and soaking in the season.

We were lucky to be graced with the presence of some incredible musicians this week to spread the holiday cheer! The students of the Farmingdale High School Choir graced us with their spirit and their voices. Angels sang high and the residents were in holiday bliss as the students toured around visiting both buildings, and all 3 dining rooms ensuring everyone got to hear! (Special thanks to the director of the choir, Jessica Mischke who helped us organize this all!). We were also joined by Mary Peck in full costume singing all her Holiday melodies -it's always a treat to have her!

We hope your Hanukkah was a joyous one! Residents learned the Dreidel Game with Chocolate Gelt, while also enjoying Chocolate Rugelach dessert treats to observe and celebrate the holiday 🕯️ They enjoyed spinning their dreidels together and collecting the chocolate coins as prizes. It was really special to partake in the tradition.

Santa came to town!!! 🙌 We had another tree to decorate, and Santa made his rounds spread Christmas Cheer, and check that all our residents were on the Nice List (they were!).

Deck more halls 🔔 we're full of Holiday Cheer over here! Residents and staff of our Renewal Building got together at the Raceway to Recovery track and had a Tree Trimming party. Everyone helped decorate the PT/OT tree and sang and danced to classic holiday tunes on the piano played by our very own amazing Robert from Recreation, while we snacked on cookies and hot cocoa 🎶

Our tree lighting celebration was a family affair! Unfortunately, it was a little too brisk to bring everyone outside, but we partied inside the nice warm lobby and got to watch the lighting through the windows being nice and cozy for the countdown! 🥳

We were joined by residents, family, friends and staff including Administrator, Kevin Harrington: Director of Recreation, Wendy Rodroiguez: Director of Nursing, and Deslandes Cange: Assistant Director of Nursing, and of course 🧑‍🎄Santa himself!

We ate, drank and sang our way through a wonderful evening, and one of our favourite annual traditions.

🙌 Speaking of annual- big shout out to for joining us for the third year in a row, braving frigid temperatures to make our tree look beautiful, and shine bright. And of course, thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the event!

We had the pleasure of rockin' around the Christmas Tree with John Catone for some holiday entertainment! John got residents movin' and groovin' to all sorts of holiday tunes, young and old. 🎶 We always love his added flair of decorating his performance rig, this time it was with ornaments, tinsel and lights like his very own tree. Residents love to sing along and dance, and he always leaves a smile on their faces!

Sending residents home is bittersweet 🫂 We're so glad they're going back to their families, and will also miss them! We are always sure to make a scene and celebrate when they get discharged.
