With nearly three decades of achievements in his specialty, Dr. Gowman is a sought-after physician serving as Chief of Cardiology and Director of the fellowship program at Beaumont Hospital in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
Dr. Gowman is board certified in cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, lipidology, cardiac CTA, and vascular medicine. Dr. Gowman’s notable medical career began in 1990 with a medical degree from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. He then completed a residency in cardiology and internal medicine at Botsford Hospital and went on to complete level three training in echocardiography at the University of Michigan.
An expert in his field, Dr. Gowman treatments range from coronary artery disease to valvular heart disease and cardiomyopathies. He is a specialist in multiple areas of cardiac imaging including echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, vascular imaging, and coronary CTA.
To stay abreast of the latest advances in his field, Dr. Gowman maintains professional memberships with the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Osteopathic Internists, the American Society of Echocardiography and the Society of Vascular Medicine.
