Welcome Cynthia our CMHC Intern. Cynthia is a Master’s of Clinical Mental Health Counseling student who will be interning at Mountain Peak this year. She is able to accept Select Health insurance. She also offers a sliding scale private pay rate from $40-$100.

Cynthia aims to provide the necessary tools and support for individuals seeking guidance to work on obtaining the best version of themselves and to take control of their lives.
She works with adolescents and young adults (ages 13-30) in areas such as depression, anxiety, trauma, communication, body image, motivation, life/career changes, stress management, spiritual (nonreligious) issues and many others. She uses a variety of different approaches including that of CBT, DBT, Client-Centered approaches, IFS and Solution-Focused Therapy. Cynthia strives to provide a judgement-free, positive, warm environment in which clients can feel comfortable and open.
