Maine Health is another amazing community partner helping to create more opportunities for families and children to enjoy outdoor recreation. This event is a sponsored Free Ski Day on 2.16.26 starting at 10am and ending at 4pm. Donations in memory of Koa Dumont are supporting the rental equipment for this event. Dear RSU 9 Community Food Pantry Patrons,

While we have always done our best to support anyone with a need in our community, it has come to our attention that we need to get back to our roots. The RSU 9 community food pantry is a collaborative effort, with the intended recipients being families with children in the RSU 9 area. As such, we will now ask recipients to identify which school the child(ren) in your care currently attend or will attend when they become school age.

To be clear- the RSU 9 Community Food Pantry is for caretakers/parents/guardians of children (including homeschooled and preschool aged children) in the RSU 9 area. While we do not need to know your child’s name or their teachers name, we may ask you to identify which school they are associated with.

If you have a need, but are not a caretaker of an RSU 9 area child, please use these other options:

🌝Join us for the Full Moon Hike 🌝
📅December 3rd at Kineowatha Park 5:30PM- 7:30PM

We will embark on a leisurely hike around Kineowathha Park, taking in the scenic views and the night sky.

After the Hike, relax by the campfire, roasting marshmallows, and enjoy the views of the night sky at Kineowatha Park.

Recommended Gear: Comfortable closed-toed shoes or hiking boots, lightweight jacket, water bottle, headlamp, & bag

💲Fee: $5 per person
➡Ages 14+ ( under 18 needs to be accompanied by an adult)
➡Signups are available at the Town Office

🩵 Pajama Drive Season is here! 🩵

Each year, the Franklin County Children’s Task Force partners with the Farmington Rotary to collect pajamas! This year we are also including socks, underwear, and diapers (all sizes newborn–18) to help keep local kids cozy through the winter.
