Good morning, we hope everyone is staying safe and warm today with all this snow!

Due to the weather and road conditions, we will be closing tomorrow January 26th to ensure the safety of our customers and staff.

This includes all outreach offices, all Head Start locations, Southeast Economic Development Fund, Inc., and the Farmington OAKS Senior Center.

This DOES NOT include the Uplift Day Shelter and their emergency winter shelter. They will remain open 24/7.

For customers needing assistance with their energy bills the LIHEAP team will be on call tomorrow. Please call 1-800-392-8663 for assistance.

We are so excited to share news about one of our newest additions to Head Start!

Meet Cooper! He will be traveling to all 11 Head Start locations as a therapy dog!

Keep an eye out for updates on his adventures with all of our Head Start kiddos throughout the year.

This weekend, we were proud to join the Behavioral Health Strike Team in Sedalia at the Missouri State Fair at Missouri State Fairgrounds, working alongside the Missouri State Emergency Management Agency to support those in need.

For all 11 days of the fair, MO DMAT-1 staffs a 7-bed mobile medical unit to assist local partners, including the State Fair Fire Department, providing medical care right on the fairgrounds near the Missouri State Highway Patrol office.

This year, the Missouri Department of Mental Health added a Behavioral Health Strike Team (BHST) to provide psychological first aid to fairgoers in need of behavioral health care or support while receiving medical attention.

We’re proud to be part of a team dedicated to keeping Missouri’s communities safe in body and mind. 💪❤️

Mrs Winch's 1st Grade Class from North County Primary participated in a Service Project. They donated supplies from our Wish List along with some special artwork which is now decorating our dog and cat departments as well as our Resale Store.
