I’m running the St Jude Run this year for the first time! Any little bit you can donate helps! This organization means the world to my family and I as they saved Jaxon’s life and we didn’t have to worry about a bill and could just focus on his recovery!!! Please donate if you can and share either way!

If you ordered a shirt for Jaxon’s no more chemo celebration and chose me for pickup they are in! I will be sending as many as I can to be delivered at the school and sent home in book bags and all others will be available for pick up at Snips Hair Studio tomorrow. Any questions feel free to comment.

Here they are!!! Jaxon’s end of treatment shirts! There is an option for shipping directly to you and an option to have them picked up by me and I will set up a pickup time to distribute those who don’t want to pay shipping. Please be sure to include you name on the order though so I know who’s shirt is who’s. Thanks so much!

Wow it has been a bit since I’ve been on here to update! Sorry life has been so busy with Jax, being able to get back to work a little more and just life in general.

First off Jax has been doing great! He had clinic yesterday and aside from the normal viruses he comes down with being in school and catching everything he’s doing so good! He had his next to last spinal tap with chemo a few weeks ago and TODAY we hit only 100 DAYS LEFT OF CHEMO!!!! I can’t even believe we will be under 100 days tomorrow! To think his treatment started 701 days ago blows my mind!

⭐️⭐️⭐️Next I want to plan something extra special for the day he rings his bell to no more chemo. I’ve been brainstorming and wanted to see if anyone would be interested in ordering new Jaxon’s Journey shirts to celebrate him ringing his bell. The design would have some sort of relation to him finishing his treatment so wouldn’t look the same as the first round of shirts ordered? ⭐️⭐️Please comment if you would be interested as if I have enough interest I’ll get that in motion! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lastly thanks for supporting Jaxon and our family for the last 2 years! He is almost there and we couldn’t have done it without our group of supporters!

Here is some pics from the last few months!

It’s been a while since I updated everyone so I figured I better hop on here since I was thinking about it.

Jax has been having a great summer so far and enjoying all the things he wasn’t able to do last summer. We all still can’t wait until treatment is over and he gets his port out so he can enjoy swimming in the ocean, going to the lake and being able to do hotel and water park pools again…but until then we get to be thankful for Nana and Papa’s pool.

Today was a long almost 8 hour clinic day but boy is he a rockstar. He sits all by himself to get his port accessed with a 3/4” needle poked into his chest and doesn’t even flinch!!! To think it used to take 4 of us to hold him down.

He received his monthly dose of pentamidine, iv chemo, iv immunoglobulin and we went home with a script of antibiotics because what we have been thinking is allergies is now possibly a sinus infection. We were supposed to be increasing his daily chemo amount today but because he is fighting off infection they want to wait until he’s done with the antibiotics. He will have to take a medication to help protect his liver with the increase of daily chemo because he also has Gilbert syndrome and the chemo causes him to have increased chance of damage to his liver. This other medication has the risk of causing his counts to plummet and increasing our chance of an unwanted hospital stay. We will enjoy our next month of not having that chance and pray next month the increase goes smoothly.

Jax will be having a lemonade stand and bake sale with all profits going to St Jude for one of his bestie Amy’s run. Monaris Chili dogs has also agreed to set up that day. The event will be in front of Snips Hair Studio on Friday July 12th. Please come see Jax and support St Jude👣❤️👣
