Here we go! Our new CA-1s & cardiothoracic fellows both completed their respective orientations last week and now have started in our ORs 💉💊 CA-1s start off on basic rotations being 1:1, while our fellows “bypass” right into the cardiac ORs 🫀Excited for their journey!

Congratulations to our cardiothoracic anesthesia fellows on the completion of their fellowship! Drs. Matt DeMatteo & Darren Lasko finished up their final days last week and will both be starting positions as attending cardiothoracic anesthesiologists - we wish them the best of luck!

The UConn Basketball team aren’t the only champs around here!!! Our residents competed against the Yale residents last night in our annual jeopardy competition and we took home the copper kettle once again!!! Great Job everyone!! 💕🏆
