Monarch FRC Farmington What we offer:

Earn while you learn: Moms meet in a group setting to learn and discuss parenting issues. (Dads are welcome to sit in on the classes.)

OUR MISSION:
Monarch Family Resource Center (formerly Parkland PRC) provides care, support, and education regarding sexual health, pregnancy, and relationships. Topics covered include: prenatal care, nutrition, healthy relationships, safety, infant development and discipline. Points earned in class can be redeemed in our "Boutique" for baby furniture, clothes and infant to toddler care products. P

arent Support Classes: Offered for clients who have had classes ordered or recommended by the court or Children's Division (DFS). This four week program begins the first week of each month with a certificate given upon completion of the classes and class requirements. Dad's Class: This is a twelve session mentoring group for fathers that will cover topics such as nurturing your family, balancing work and family commitments, and strategies
to manage your physical and mental health. HOPE (Healing Our Past Experiences) Class: A class for women of all ages who want to understand how our pasts influence us today. This ten week program examines how sexual trauma, abuse and misuse affect relationships. The classes help women move toward healing and better relationships.

​When Big Door Coffee House reached out about a partnership, we knew it was a perfect match. Why? Because both of our organizations believe in the power of a Safe Space.

​Whether you're coming to Monarch for family resources or heading to Big Door for a moment of peace, both spaces exist to fuel our community.

​We are so grateful to have local partners who recognize that it takes a village (and maybe a little caffeine!) to help families thrive.

Huge thank you to the team at Big Door for taking the initiative to support local families. We are honored to be in your space!

Annual Banquet Silent Auction:
Local craftsman, Joseph Whitener, has donated these beautiful, handcrafted wooden bowls for us to auction. The bowls are made from a variety of woods (cherry, ash, maple, oak, sweetgum, Chinese elm) and range in size from 6 -16 inches. Depending on the value of the item, opening bids will be from $5 - $25. We really appreciate Joe's generous donation and all of you at the banquet who will participate in this auction! Today, we celebrate the greatest turning point in history. The stone is rolled away, the grave is empty, and death has lost its sting. Because He lives, we can face tomorrow with unshakable hope!
