🍂 Parents, it’s time to “fall back!” ⏰
We technically gain an hour of sleep (in theory 😉), but little ones may take a few days to catch up. We know that for many, keeping a consistent sleep schedule isn’t easy!
Stick with steady routines, soak up some morning sunshine, and don’t forget that extra cup of coffee ☕ — you’ve earned it! 💛

🎃✨Happy Halloween! ✨🧙♀️
As spooky season comes to a close, we’d love to give your gently-used costumes a second life! 👻👑🦸♀️
Our center is building up our Dramatic Play area, and donated costumes help our kiddos explore creativity, imagination, social skills, and confidence year-round!
✅ All sizes welcome
✅ Accessories too (hats, capes, masks, etc.)
✅ Clean + gently used items appreciated
If you’re looking to clear the clutter AND make a meaningful impact, email us to set up a good time to drop off donations 🧡
Thank you for helping our little learners shine! ✨

Yesterday was World Occupational Therapy Day!
At Spark, we’re especially grateful for our amazing COTA, Heather, who brings creativity, fun, and purpose into every session! ✨
From themed crafts to hands-on activities, Heather uses engaging projects to help children build important skills, like fine motor strength, sensory exploration, communication, and independence- all while having a blast. 🧡🎨
Thank you, Heather, for always finding ways to make learning joyful and meaningful. We appreciate everything you do for our kiddos and families!

✨ Activity of the Month! ✨
Our grad student, Danielle, is sharing a fun idea for the whole family — a scavenger hunt!
Looking for an activity everyone can enjoy together? Scavenger hunts are a great way to get the whole family involved — some can hide items while others search for them! 🕵️♀️
They’re not only fun, but also a great way to help children practice following directions, looking for items on a list, and building problem-solving skills. 💡

The Behavior Health Center of Excellence® (BHCOE®) is an international accrediting body created to meet accreditation needs specific to the delivery of behavior analysis. The BHCOE’s accreditation requirements undergo regular review according to international standards for organizations that grant accreditation. All BHCOE requirements and survey content are reviewed annually by content experts. BHCOE Accreditation ® is a certification given to an applied behavior analysis provider once it has demonstrated it has met and continues to meet an assortment of clinical and administrative standards as determined by an independent third-party evaluator.
The SPARK Center was the first center to receive this respected accreditation in the state of Michigan and are one of only five in the state with the more prestigious (and difficult to earn) 2 year accreditation!
Dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders, the Spark Center for Autism provides early intervention based on the principles of applied behavior analysis.
At the Spark Center, our primary goal is to increase functional skills and decrease behaviors that negatively impact daily living. We believe that the best outcomes are achieved by tailoring interventions to the individual based on their specific needs. We believe in working with families to share and teach these principles in order to help enhance the lives of the children and their families.
At the Spark Center, we believe we have a responsibility to uphold best practice which means only using interventions that are validated in current research.
