When your emotions hit a 10/10 and you need to bring them down FAST, try TIPP:

T — Temperature: Splash cold water on your face or hold ice. It triggers your dive reflex and slows your heart rate.
I — Intense exercise: Even 5 minutes of movement burns off adrenaline.
P — Paced breathing: Breathe out longer than you breathe in.
P — Paired muscle relaxation: Tense and release muscle groups while breathing.

This isn't about ignoring your feelings. It's about giving your nervous system a reset so you can THINK before you react.
