We are just one week away from Election Day.

The Ambulance Growth Proposition is an investment in the safety of St. Francois County. It supports the ability to keep up with increasing call volume and provide timely care across our community.

When you vote yes on the Ambulance Growth Proposition, you are supporting your local IAFF paramedics and the care your family may need one day.

Vote YES on April 7th.

Last week we finished our collections for our 2nd annual Battle of the Badges Backpack Food Drive. We had 7 departments participate. The St. Francois County Ambulance District competed by shifts. 728 items were collected! Bonne Terre Police Department collected the most with 238 items and they decided to donate their winnings to shop with a cop Then B shift days at SFCAD collected the 2nd most with 145 items. We appreciate all the support from the participating departments and their continued support the last two years. On Monday we delivered to the schools. We look forward to hosting our 3rd Annual Battle of the Badges Backpack Food Drive next year.

It’s that time of the year again! We’re doing our second annual Battle of the Badges backpack food drive collection. This year we’re collecting for North County schools and Farmington schools. I can’t wait to see the turnout because last years was great. If you would like to donate contact anyone at the participating districts.

A few weeks ago several union members, their families and St. Francois County Ambulance District came together to host a BBQ fundraiser to help with funeral costs for a fellow union member/coworker’s father’s passing. It was a very successful benefit. We want to thank everyone that showed up to support this cause, SFCAD for allowing us to host it at house 1 and everyone who showed up to help cook, package and deliver some of the orders.

Below are a few pictures:

Recently, we had a fellow union member retire after 30 years of service at St. Francois County Ambulance District. He will be missed around the district, but he has spread his knowledge to many providers still there. Congratulations on your retirement, Chris!
