There’s a lot that happens behind the scenes before a client ever meets with a clinician.

Our intake and admin team are often the first voice someone hears when they’re overwhelmed, unsure, or just trying to figure out where to start. They’re the ones answering questions, navigating insurance, managing schedules, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

And they do it with patience, care, and kindness every single day.

This work isn’t always visible, but it matters. A lot.

We’re really grateful for the team that holds all of this together.

Thank you for everything you do.

Sometimes the way we speak to ourselves is harsher than anything we’d ever say to someone we love.

This is your reminder to soften that voice, even just a little.

You don’t have to be perfect.
You don’t have to have everything figured out.
You’re allowed to meet yourself with patience, too.

If you’re not sure where to start, here are a few small ways to show up for yourself this week:

Pause and take a real break, even if it’s just 5 minutes

Speak to yourself the way you would to a friend

Let one thing be “good enough” instead of perfect

Say no to something that feels overwhelming

Do one small thing that makes you feel calm or grounded

Nothing big. Nothing overwhelming. Just small moments that remind you that you matter too.

How are you showing up for yourself this week?

Autism isn’t one thing, it’s a spectrum of how a person experiences and interacts with the world.

From communication and social awareness to sensory processing and executive functioning, each area can look different for every individual.

There’s no single “autistic experience.”
Some strengths stand out.
Some challenges need support.
And those needs can change over time.

Understanding the spectrum means moving away from labels and toward seeing the whole person.

At LEAP, we focus on meeting individuals where they are, building on strengths, and supporting growth in a way that actually fits their life.

Showing up daily doesn’t mean doing it perfectly.
It doesn’t mean you feel motivated every time.
It doesn’t mean every day looks the same.

Some days are focused.
Some days are messy.
Some days you barely have anything to give.

And you still showed up.

That counts more than consistency ever will.

Because real consistency isn’t about perfection,
it’s about returning, again and again,
even when it looks different than you expected.

Growth isn’t built on perfect days.
It’s built on the days you almost didn’t show up, but did anyway.

Healing isn’t linear.
It’s messy, frustrating, and sometimes feels like you’re going in circles.

One day you feel strong.
The next, you’re right back in something you thought you already worked through.

That doesn’t mean it isn’t working.

It means you’re practicing.
It means you’re noticing.
It means you’re doing the hard part most people avoid.

Progress in therapy doesn’t look like a straight line, it looks like showing up anyway.

Even when it’s uncomfortable.
Even when it’s slow.
Even when it doesn’t make sense yet.

If you’re in that messy middle, you’re not behind.
You’re exactly where growth happens.

Like this 👍 if overthinking has ever kept you stuck 💭 You’re not alone.

Instead of saying, “I need to think about this more,” try saying, “I can figure it out as I go.”

Growth does not come from having all the answers. It comes from moving forward anyway. Confidence is built through action, not waiting.

This does not mean you should not think things through. It means not letting overthinking keep you stuck.

Curious have you ever overthought something and it kept you from an important decision or opportunity?

Most parents don’t realize how much support their child is actually entitled to… until they’re already overwhelmed trying to figure it out alone.

IEPs, 504 plans, school meetings, it can quickly become confusing, frustrating, and honestly exhausting. And when you’re in it, you’re expected to advocate while still trying to understand the system at the same time.

That’s where we come in.

At LEAP, we support families every step of the way, whether you just need help understanding your options or full support in meetings and communication with schools.

Swipe to see how our advocacy services are structured and what support can look like for your family.

We’re also actively working on ways to support families who may not have access to services right now, because every child deserves support, not just the ones who can afford it.

If you’ve been feeling stuck or unsure of what to do next, we’re here.

We’ve been seeing more and more families and individuals struggling with gaps in insurance coverage, or losing access to care altogether. That’s a really hard place to be, especially when support is still needed.

We wanted to create something simple and consistent for those situations. The LEAP Assistance Program is a private pay option designed to make care more predictable and accessible when insurance isn’t an option.

This isn’t about replacing insurance, it’s about making sure people don’t fall through the cracks when coverage changes or isn’t available.

If you or someone you know is navigating that space, we’re here to talk through options and help figure out what might work best. No pressure, just support.

Autism Awareness Month is a reminder that support doesn’t have to be complicated, it just has to be intentional.

Small things matter.
Giving someone time to respond.
Respecting personal space.
Being mindful of sensory needs.

These aren’t big changes, but they can completely shift how safe and understood someone feels.

At LEAP, we focus on meeting people where they are and creating support that actually fits, not forcing them into what’s expected.

Losing a pet is a different kind of heartbreak.

They’re there for the quiet moments.
The routines.
The days no one else sees.

And when they’re gone, it can feel like the world keeps moving…
while something really important just stopped.

A lot of people don’t talk about this kind of grief.
Or they feel like they shouldn’t be this affected.

But that bond is real.
And so is the loss.

If you’re going through it, you’re not overreacting.
You’re grieving someone who mattered.

Support can make a difference, especially with someone who truly understands that connection.

At LEAP, Beth offers pet grief support with empathy, experience, and a deep respect for that bond.

You don’t have to carry it quietly.
