The students are very excited about it! But I felt the need to tell you because they are running around asking to “get punches.” 🤦‍♀️ If they come home to say they “got punched!” This is what they mean!!

Today we talked about the Sun!
The Sun is not just bright and warm — the Sun is a star! ⭐
We learned that the Sun is made of something called hydrogen and helium.
Hydrogen and helium are gases, and even though we can’t see them, they help the Sun shine so bright in the sky!
The kids were especially excited and mostly focused on the idea that the Sun is made of gas.
The Sun keeps us warm and helps our world grow. 🌍💛
