Knew Creations is launching an Anger Management course on Monday nights beginning March 9th from 5:30-7pm.

Anger comes from many different sources and can be experienced in numerous ways. When our anger affects our work, relationships, or parenting, it may be time to consider getting some assistance in order to understand what is truly going on and how to do things differently.

If you or someone you know could benefit from an anger management class, or you would like more information, give us a call or stop by our office.

As we have been working with families and support services in our community, we have decided to respond to the growing need for local, in person parenting classes. Our parenting course, Healing Hearts for Families, will be held on Saturdays from 9-11am. After completion of all 8 courses, participants will receive a certificate of completion.

Sessions are $45 per person. For more information on how to have these courses covered by insurance, call or stop by our front office!

February’s Substance Use IOP graduation included four successful graduates. Every month, we host an IOP graduation ceremony where we honor the hard work, dedication, and success of the individuals who complete all 16 weeks of the program.

This is a huge accomplishment to be highly regarded. On these nights, we speak scripture over and life into these individuals. It is a time to call them up and onward as they make this transition.

Congratulations to all you graduates in the month of February!

Meet your therapist, Marcie Loudermilk, LMHC.

Marcie helps her clients heal from trauma, process life cycle transitions, build self-worth, and strengthen identity. She has natural gravitation to clients in young to mid adulthood but has a broad scope of skills that serve all ages.

Marcie is a trained EMDR therapist. She uses polyvagal theory to help connect the body and mind in healthy ways. The work Marcie does unlocks trauma that has been stored in the body so that it can be processed and released. She also uses expressive art therapy to help clients gain awareness of subconscious beliefs, fears, and strengths in a fun and soothing way.

To learn more about the work Marcie does or to schedule an appointment with her. Please reach out to the front office or stop by and see us!

Intensive Outpatient Programs are designed to provide a high level of support for those experiencing issues that inhibit daily functioning. Often times, these challenges come in the form of problematic substance use where an individual cannot abstain from substances, even when consequences are severe.

We offer three options for substance use treatment throughout the week in order to make recovery as accessible as possible. A court order is not a requirement to join. We use evidence-based practices alongside Chrisitan principals, so the whole person is healed and transformed.

For more information on how you or a loved one can receive recovery from substances, please come by and see us or call the main office.

EMDR, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is an evidence-based practice used to treat trauma and other various mental health concerns. When we experience trauma or prolonged exposure to distress, our natural coping mechanisms can become overwhelmed causing us to become frozen in unprocessed experiences.

EMDR uses bilateral stimulation such as tapping, vibration, or eye movements to access the brain's natural processing ability, even when recalling distressing memories. This grants us the ability to live in the present moment with more clarity and peace, even after processing is done.

We are excited to offer EMDR practice wide and to use it with our clients alongside all other treatment modalities.

Knew Creations is proud to now offer Comprehensive Community Support Services!

CCSS is a service that helps individuals develop the practical life skills needed to improve daily functioning, stability, and independence. It is a skill-building support service that works alongside counseling to help apply what is learned in therapy to real-life situations.

When in transition, finding the right services, obtaining proper documentation, choosing a new way of life, and understanding the societal systems in place can be daunting. Having someone help us navigate these challenges can make all the difference.

Meet your therapist, Phyllis Sandoval, LMHC with a specialization in clinical rehabilitation.

Phyllis works with her client's on changing negative beliefs and mindsets and helping them see the truth of who they were created to be. She finds that once old beliefs begin to change, behaviors and outdated ways of living follow suit and healing naturally follows.

Phyllis primarily uses CBT, EMDR, and DBT with her clients. She has a heart for grief, domestic violence, and any childhood traumas. Her goal is to help her clients see that the guilt and shame was never theirs to carry as she walks alongside them, helping them restore their true identity.

To learn more about the services Phyllis offers or to schedule an appointment with her, please call or email the office.
