But unfortunately “Family History” had to start somewhere and it was with me. I resent it some days, I think it’s hard not to. But I’m mostly grateful that I caught it and I’m here.​

Seniors who sign up for Social Security prior to age 65 are automatically enrolled in Medicare once they become eligible. But those who don't claim their Social Security benefits early need to actively enroll in Medicare themselves. And the timing of enrollment can dictate when Medicare coverage begins. This popped into my head the other night while scrolling on the socials. I love some garden inspiration as much as the next person, but let’s not forget that non-Pinterest worthy gardens grow food too. Our garden isn’t very visually exciting this year, but it’s given us radishes, tomatoes, peppers and flowers, plus fed some really happy birds and wildlife too. Here’s to ugly gardens!
