🎉 Exciting Leadership News for Our Community

Cape Fear Valley Health is proud to announce Daniel (Dan) Weatherly as our new Chief Executive Officer.

Dan has been part of the Cape Fear Valley Health family since 2011, serving in key leadership roles including Chief Operating Officer and most recently interim CEO. His experience and commitment have helped guide our organization through growth, innovation and some of healthcare’s most challenging moments.

As CEO, Dan will continue leading our mission to provide high-quality, compassionate care while strengthening our workforce, expanding partnerships and investing in the future of healthcare in our region.

“It’s truly an honor to step into this role and continue serving our community,” Weatherly said. “The care we provide every day is made possible by everyone involved, from our clinical to our non-clinical teams, including our physicians, nurses and CNAs, our Environmental Services staff who keep our patients’ rooms clean and safe, and our Food and Nutrition Services teams who help nourish and care for our patients. I’m grateful to work alongside such a dedicated group and look forward to continuing that progress together.”

🌟 Meet Brittany Dickerhoff, Director of Development for Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation! 🌟

Brittany has been with the health system since 2016. Her journey in healthcare philanthropy began in 2007 with the Children’s Miracle network, and since then, she has been committed to making a meaningful impact on healthcare in her hometown. She is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and member of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy. She holds a BA from Campbell University, MBA in Health Care Management from Fayetteville State University and will achieve her Doctorate of Health Care Administration from Oklahoma State University this spring.
