I'm currently editing a novel I wrote back in 2007--Evidence Unseen. I wish I knew then what I know now about writing. Between my writers' group and my own critiquing, I'm ripping it apart. So much to fix. But it's all constructive work.

Believe it or not, with God's help, I just finished the time travel story I've been working on--Through the Glass. I started it on Aug. 1 and completed it today, Sept. 2. I would have finished it a couple weeks ago, but I've been working on editing a novel plus a lot of little projects around the house.

Unedited as of yet--

I've gotten myself into a pickle. I've been working on a new time travel story--Through the Glass. I'm also submitting a novel to my writers' group for critique. And wouldncha know it, I've got another time travel story stuck in my head. I even have a title--Backward, Forward. It's inspired by a picture I took of my husband trying on a Stetson.

I love to cut and paste. And I don't mean with scissors and glue. I solved my problem with Chapter 1 of Through the Glass by cutting a paragraph and pasting it to the beginning of the chapter. I did a little rewording throughout the chapter, and I think that took care of things. Now it's on to Chapter 2.

Not long ago, I got an idea in my head for a new time travel story. Couldn't stop thinking about it, so I started it last Friday. It's titled Through the Glass. It's about a giant snow globe that she falls into without breaking the glass. There she meets the preacher, who is not a bona fide preacher. Will they fall in love? Maybe--maybe not. Haven't gotten past chapter one yet, which I have to rewrite because I'm not satisfied with the progression of events so far.

I need to start working on my third publication of time travel stories, but I'm currently editing a novel I wrote years ago. It also has a sequel. Need to get them published so that people don't think all I write is time travel.

Just in Time has arrived. Just imagine how excited I was to open the box, remove the packing paper and see the character's face on the front cover from the first story, Black Heart.

My proof copy arrived. But after looking through it, I found issues that need addressed. Hope to have things straightened out soon so I can publish the book and start selling.

The proof copy of my next publication, Just in Time, is to arrive Thursday. Hope to soon have it available on Amazon. It's amazing how much research goes into writing a story--even one that's about time travel. I learn so much about subjects I've never delved into before. I enjoy the nineteenth century most because I love cowboys, but I need to expand. Anyone have any suggestions about other areas readers might be interested in? I'd appreciate your input.

In the next couple days, I hope to be able to send Just in Time to be uploaded and have a proof copy printed. Then, if all goes well, I'll send my first order for author copies.
