Happy Friday! We are thankful for another successful week at Dr. L.S. Bright Family Dentistry! We are also thankful for some extra help around the office from Dr. Bright's daughter, Olivia, and Gina's daughter, Bailey.

Day 1 of Reopening was a success! We are thankful to be back in the office caring for our dental family!

During Phase 1, our office will be working a light schedule with a rotating, limited staff.

Here, you can see a better look at what our office will look like for the up and coming months. We have added informative signs throughout the office, created a question and temperature screening area, and even added new apparel. Due to a PPE shortage, we are following the American Dental Association's recommendation to change our clinical jackets after every patient as we await the arrival of disposable gowns. The amount of clinical jackets being used has caused a substantial increase in the amount of laundry being done throughout the day (LOL!), but we are taking ALL extra precautions in order to make your safety our #1 priority.

Special thanks to Castle Uniforms Incorporated for the supply of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)! And another special thanks to Calvin Scott for providing the plexiglass safety barriers!

We will be reopening Monday, May 11, 2020.

We have missed you all and hope this message finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same is our commitment to your safety.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and staff safe.

We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.

Hope everyone survived the hurricane and is doing well. Just for your information we use distilled water in a closed system in all our dental units. No worries about contamination during the boiled water advisory.
